RMCMA SUMMER 2003 CALENDAR

      • Summer term runs June 9 - August 9. Continuing students MUST re-enroll with with new form beginning May 5. New Students may enroll starting May 12.
      • To begin Summer term, past balances must be settled.

      NEW OFFERINGS

    Flute Choir

      • For middle-schoolers (high school/adult group also if enough interest; call to get on list).
      • 4 weeks, July 18 - August 8
      • Fridays, 1:00 - 1:45 PM
      • Have fun making music with other flutistsl intermediate level musicl mini-concert to be arranged during last week,.
      • Jennifer Merrill, director.
      • Tuition: $45.

       

    Music Theatre Workshop for Kids

      • Have a blast while learning how to put a musical together! Participate in singing, acting, costumes, set, and other production aspects for an original musical called Once Upon a Time!
      • Ages 13-16
      • 9 weeks, June 14- August 9
      • Saturdays 10:00 AM - Noon; performance August 9, 4PM
      • Marcia & Patti Marchesi, instructors
      • Tuition $135

       

    Songwriting

      • High-schoolers through adults
      • Learn to write a well-crafted song and have fun in the process!
      • Taught as small group, 60-minute lesson.
      • Joan Huntsberry, instructor
      • Available entire term, 9 weeks, June 9 - August 9. Weekly meeting time to be arranged based on student/teacher schedules.
      • Tuition: $34 per lesson, 2-4 students divide cost).

       

    Beginning Bluegrass Ensemble

      • High-schoolers through adults; guitar, mandolin, nabjo, and bass
      • Learn standard repertoire at beginner-friendly tempos, as well as "jam etiquette" (helpful tips on improvising with groups).
      • Taught as small group, 60-minute lesson.
      • Carey Harwood, instructor
      • Available entire term, 9 weeks, June 9 - August 9. Weekly meeting time to be arranged based on student/teacher schedules.
      • Tuition: $34 per lesson, 2-4 students divide cost).
